Wireless Wednesday with Brian Moody from Kelley Blue Book

Finding the right vehicle can be a daunting task for car shoppers, especially when there are hundreds of different models from which to choose. Whether your transportation needs include traditional gas-powered vehicles, hybrids, plug-in hybrids or pure electrics, there’s a wide range of vehicles available in today’s market and the options keep growing. As The Trusted Resource® for helping car shoppers find the right vehicle at the right price for more than 95 years, Kelley Blue Book created the Best Buy Awards to aid new-car shoppers in narrowing down their consideration list so they can purchase their next vehicle with confidence.

Brian Moody joins Rick to reveal the Best New Model winner along with other top new model-year vehicles such as Best Subcompact SUV, Best Electric Truck, Best EV Under $35,000 and more. He also can share the latest auto trends and how the industry is responding to consumers’ need for choice, variety and sustainability.

Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buy Awards are the culmination of a year-long regimen of expert vehicle evaluation and testing of nearly every new vehicle available in America.

The comprehensive process includes an analysis of a broad swath of vehicle-related data, including vehicle pricing/transaction prices, 5-Year Cost to Own data (which includes depreciation, insurance, maintenance, financing, fuel, fees and taxes for new cars), consumer reviews and ratings, and vehicle sales/retail sales information.

To be considered for Kelley Blue Book's highest accolade, Best New Model, the vehicle must be an all-new or redesigned model and offer a strong value proposition to consumers based on pricing, innovation, and available standard technology and safety features.
