Wireless Wednesday: Organizations approaching AI with fast strides

AI technology is being adopted at a rapid pace across industries in the United States and abroad.


A new global survey of IT and business leaders conducted by AI leader SAS and research firm IDC sought to examine how organizations are approaching AI adoption and how they are embedding trust into their AI initiatives. The survey of 2,375 respondents was conducted in North America and across the globe.


The survey explored AI implementation, perceptions of traditional AI vs generative AI, the trustworthiness of AI and what, if any, safeguards they have implemented. The findings reveal:



Which do experts trust more: established forms of AI, or GenAI chatbots like ChatGPT?

Are enough organizations actively investing in ethical guardrails to make AI safer?

What is preventing safer, more successful AI implementations?
