Start planning for the severe weather season.
Rick is joined by: Craig Martinez, National Public Safety Strategist, T-Mobile

Have a watch:
In 2024, there were 27 weather and climate disasters with losses exceeding $1 billion each in the U.S. Experts say that emergency preparedness has become essential no matter where you live, and having a plan helps everyone act quickly and decisively, preventing death and injury.
Still, many Americans are unprepared. A new T-Mobile survey found that 34% of U.S. adults don’t have a clear communication plan for themselves or their families, even though most say reliable mobile communication is as essential as food and water in a disaster.
Being prepared is only part of the equation. First responders play a vital role in keeping communities safe—but many cite unreliable networks as their top communications concern.
On Wednesday, May 28, Craig Martinez, a former police chief, Federal Air Marshal, and National Public Safety Strategist at T-Mobile, is available to discuss the importance of connectivity in emergencies and how one mobile telecommunications company is prioritizing first responders to help them perform their jobs as efficiently as possible.
Craig Martinez is the National Public Safety Strategist for T-Mobile. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran and 23-year law enforcement executive where he worked with the Utah Highway Patrol as a State Trooper, the Federal Aviation Administration as a Federal Air Marshal, the Orem Police Department (UT) as a Captain, and retired as the Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police in Springville (UT). He is a graduate of the FBINA session #275 and Northwestern University SPSC #423.
