VeeFriends with numerous offerings at NSCC
Gary Vee is a familiar face at the NSCC. VeeFriends, a contemporary entertainment company founded by serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, is making its debut at The National Sports Collectors Convention, the event of the year for collectors, in Rosemont, Illinois on July 26 - 30. VeeFriends is a corporate sponsor of the NSCC and will have Compete and Collect trading cards, memorabilia, and more available for purchase at its booth (#543) each day of the convention.
VeeFriends established its first physical trading cards in collaboration with zerocool by Fanatics in 2022 and continues to expand the brand through collectible cards and merchandise. For the first time, the company is showcasing its extensive collection of Compete and Collect trading cards and NSCC exclusive merchandise. VeeFriends’ booth will offer a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees, where they can break Compete and Collect boxes, purchase trading card packs, merchandise and accessories. Convention-goers also have the opportunity to engage with the VeeFriends team and meet Vaynerchuk.
All VIP attendees and dealers will receive an inaugural tradeable VeeFriends Super Sticker insert. The limited edition collection of VeeFriends Super Stickers, featuring 20 characters, can be traded for a chance to play the VeeFriends Plinko board and win a prize. Additionally, VeeFriends will be giving away Compete & Collect packs twice a day between 12 - 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 - 3 p.m. CDT to children who visit the booth.
VeeFriends will debut a limited number of “Wizard Insert” packs exclusive to NSCC. These never-before-seen 5-card packs feature four base cards and one random Spectacular Wizard card of varying rarities. Each card features a QR code that links to animated character videos.
On Saturday evening, VeeFriends is debuting a 2023 NSCC “Playtest” tournament with the Compete & Collect trading cards, which is a new gameplay experience that blends the thrill of game strategy and competition, with the joy of collecting. By embracing the nostalgic appeal of collecting, VeeFriends aims to invite individuals and new audiences to discover the excitement of building collections and its character universe.
