TV remains central to US life as viewers multitask.

The average American watches 24 hours of television each week, with two-thirds reporting that they watch TV most or all of the time, a survey by Optimum reveals. Eating, browsing on phones and socializing lead the lists of other activities that nearly 90% perform while viewing.
