The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has announced a new exclusive corporate partnership with RefReps, the industry leader in sports officiating education. Through this expanded partnership, RefReps has been named the Official and Exclusive Officiating Education Technology and Curriculum Partner of the NFHS.

This announcement builds on the existing successful content collaboration between the two organizations, including RefReps' instrumental role in the launch of NFHS Digital, the NFHS’s new digital platform and mobile apps for distributing and accessing NFHS official rules publications—another milestone in bringing officiating resources into the digital age.
RefReps’ experience in the officiating space is unmatched, with its innovative platform already trusted by more than 36,000 learners worldwide, with more enrolling daily. Designed to meet the needs of today’s educators, officials and learners, the RefReps Officiating Education System™ combines interactive video-based modules, immersive POV scenarios, and standardized online coursework to deliver a truly modern and effective educational experience.
“Making this partnership official was an easy decision,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, CEO of the NFHS. “RefReps reimagined the officiating education experience, and it is easy to see the remarkable impact that it has had on the industry. What they have accomplished with their digital platforms and curriculum is reshaping the future of sports as a whole. Their commitment to modernizing and expanding officiating education aligns perfectly with our mission to support the growth and sustainability of high school sports and activities. Together, we’re providing essential tools for existing officials and those who aspire to become one.”
“By combining NFHS’s leadership, and tradition, in high school sports with our innovative approach to education and learning, this partnership strengthens our mission to help the world see the game through the eyes of the officials,” said Kyle Armstrong, founder and CEO of RefReps. “Not only does RefReps help people teach and learn how to become sports officials themselves, but it also helps them understand and relate to them as well. Through this, we aim to solve many of the challenges that have plagued education-based athletics for far too long. This partnership marks a new chapter for the future sustainability of sports and officiating.”
“As the landscape of high school sports continues to evolve, RefReps and the NFHS stand united in their mission to educate, equip and inspire the next generation of sports officials,” Niehoff said. “This new corporate partnership ensures this work will continue with even greater impact and innovation.”
