A majority of fans say that participating in fantasy football has significantly increased their understanding of NFL teams, with 60% reporting they now have a better grasp of team strengths and weaknesses than ever before.

Nearly half of respondents (48%) say fantasy football has helped them better understand individual players.

Almost four in ten respondents (39%) say that fantasy football has expanded their understanding of game strategy and tactics. This includes learning about offensive and defensive schemes, play styles, and how different approaches affect the outcome of games — knowledge that enhances their overall appreciation of football as a sport.
