If America’s largest, fastest and most reliable wireless network is like a busy highway then AT&T just added even more “lanes,”
This will boost speeds by up to 80%. That means more capacity, faster speeds, and a smoother ride for everyone!
Georgia, you're up!

Who benefits?
· More than 820 cell sites have been upgraded across Georgia.
· Those include multiple sites in Atlanta, Augusta, Macon, Columbus, Albany and several other cities.
How is this possible?
AT&T has now deployed newly acquired spectrum from EchoStar that is already expanding coverage cities and towns all across the country at over 23,000 cell sites.
“We’ve put EchoStar spectrum to work on our network and customers are already feeling the difference,” said Jeff McElfresh, chief operating officer, AT&T. “This gives us the runway to expand availability of AT&T Internet Air for consumers and businesses and add even more download speed to our 5G service. We’re setting the bar for what it means to be the best advanced networking company in America.”
What will this do?
· Faster, more consistent 5G performance and download speeds.
· Stronger connections indoors and in more places, including rural areas
· More capacity for streaming, gaming, and using smart devices, all at once!
· Expansion of AT&T Internet Air, our fixed-wireless home internet solution
