GOLFBUDDY and Samsung partnership

GOLFBUDDY, a driving force in the golf Distance Measuring Device (DMD) market, will be returning for its 17th year to the 2020 Orlando PGA Merchandise show with some exciting new gear.

They have partnered with Samsung to create the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition smartwatch. Users will have access to all original Samsung smartwatch features now accompanied by GOLFBUDDY’s course database.

The GOLFBUDDY course database is known for providing the most accurate yardages for over 40,000 golf courses worldwide with no annual fees.

GOLFBUDDY, known for its tag line “Accuracy Matters,” is excited about its collaboration with Samsung. The new smartwatch will offer some of the most advanced golf features unparalleled to other golf GPS wearables.

"I believe that by partnering with Samsung, we will deliver the best all-in-one golf smartwatch on the market today," says Timothy Chae, GOLFBUDDY America CEO.

2020 is another exciting year for GOLFBUDDY. In 2019, GOLFBUDDY introduced its new "aim" product line of golf GPS and laser rangefinders.

The aim W10 (watch) offers a full-color touch screen with zoom in/out features along with green undulation. The aim V10 (voice) features distances to the front/center/back of the green, distance to hazards and has an incredibly long 15-hour battery life.

The aim L10 is the official laser of the Symetra Tour and the #1 laser of the PGA Champions Tour. Lastly, the aim L10V is the world’s first talking laser. Both lasers feature a manual slope on/off switch and pin finder with vibration. It’s also important to note that the Voice 2 golf GPS continues to be the #1 selling talking GPS unit in golf.
