FreePinSheets.com provides 'Tour Quality' pin sheets

StrackaLine, one of golf’s most innovative companies, is showing off some new technology and has launched FreePinSheets.com, a website that will provide golf courses with a free Tour quality pin sheet generation tool.

For years, courses have entered coordinates into a generic Xcel file that produces “pin sheets” that feature non-descript circular greens. Those days are over.

The new StrackaLine pin sheets will allow courses to enter the coordinates of hole locations, just as they’ve done in the past, but the locations will be printed on an outline of each individual green. The detailed pin sheets will provide golfers a true look at the green and a better understanding of the challenge they face on the approach.

Courses can sign up for the no-cost, no-obligation service at FreePinSheets.com, and will have access to Tour quality pin sheets in less than a week.

“At StrackaLine, we are always looking for ways to improve the golfer experience, and our enhanced pin sheets are another step in that direction,” company president Jim Stracka said. “The new pin sheets are perfect for tournaments of all types, they are incredibly easy to use, and they are free. We think FreePinSheets.com is a no-brainer.”

FreePinSheets.com users will also have the opportunity to access StrackaLine’s entire complement of product offerings, including the company’s industry-leading Greens Guides and Hole Location software that has revolutionized the way superintendents set pin positions.

Courses that opt to upgrade their plan will also enjoy an enhanced Pin Sheet plan that provides more detailed green imagery and print options.

The quality and accuracy of StrackaLine’s greens guides have led to widespread adoption on the PGA, LPGA and Korn Ferry tours, in addition to their use by more than 300 Division I college teams. StrackaLine scans courses for $1,500 and that includes 100 greens guides for resale. The scanning process takes five hours to complete and is unobtrusive to the golfer experience. The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green.
