Athletes are always looking for an edge, just like college basketball fans are when filling out their NCAA Tournament brackets. With Adobe Analytics, fans can analyze approx. 100 key metrics that could be used to predict winners, from three-point shooting, effective field goal percentage, offensive and defensive rebounding, and players’ offensive rating, free throw percentage, and much more.
Additional features like play by play data and “watchability” metrics means that today’s data obsessed sports fan can get truly granular to predict outcomes – as well as simply which games might be the most fun to watch! This is important as fans not only want to see their favorite schools win, but also maybe finish on top of the heap in their office pool.
