'Holiday Hydration' with Icelandic Glacial Water
As one of the youngest islands on the planet, Iceland has a raw, natural beauty and a pristine ecosystem. Centuries of volcanic activity and an abundance of beautiful glaciers have left a stunning landscape unlike anywhere else in the world, and have earned the country the nickname, “Land of Fire and Ice.” Icelanders have made it a priority to preserve the unspoiled beauty of their environment which allows them to gift us with some of the cleanest, most pure water in the world.
So with the holidays bearing down on us, make sure you keep hydrated with the world's most pure water. It's actually fairly common to get dehydrated around the holidays. With shopping, gift wrapping and holiday parties, make sure you drink enough water.
Icelandic Glacial is sourced from the legendary Ölfus Spring in Iceland, one of the world’s most pristine ecosystems. It possesses a naturally low mineral content (TDS of 62 ppm) that does not crowd the palate with heavy metals, minerals or silica. A water so pure, nothing is added or taken away.
Available at retailers like Kroger, Publix and Walgreens, Icelandic Glacial is also available for purchase online here.
Choose from Still, Sparkling or even different Sparkling flavors.
All the choices are delicious and refreshing.
You not only will feel good drinking Icelandic Glacial, but you'll feel good about why you are drinking it.
Long before man reached the remote island of Iceland, a massive volcanic eruption occurred, creating the Ölfus Spring deep below the earth’s surface. For 5,000 years, water has filtered slowly through layers of lava rock, creating exceptionally pure and naturally alkaline water with the perfect mineral balance. Shielded by an impenetrable layer of lava rock and surrounded by a 128,000 acre exclusion zone, the Spring is constantly replenished by a gradual filtration of rainfall and snowmelt over uninhabited and untouched lava fields. With over 900,000 cubic meters of water overflowing from the Ölfus Spring into the ocean every day, it's one of the world's largest natural springs.
Icelandic Glacial takes immense pride in running a completely sustainable operation fueled entirely by geothermal and hydroelectric power. At 7,688 sq. ft., the world class facility is one of the world's greenest and cleanest. Fully automated and hands-free, the facility is capable of producing up to 30,000 bottles per hour. The filling process takes place in a clean room environment held to the highest laboratory standards. The water for Icelandic Glacial travels directly from the underground spring into the bottling facility, which maintains a positive air pressure to impede the outside air. The first time Icelandic Glacial encounters the open air is when the bottle seal is broken. Nothing is ever added or taken away.
Icelandic Glacial is an award-winning water.
Their sparkling Elderflower water won the award for Best Flavored Water at the 2018 Global Bottled Water Awards.
The Global Bottled Water Awards are organized annually by global food and drink experts, Zenith Global, in Evian, France to celebrate a range of excellence and innovation across every category of the packaged water industry. They are open to innovators and entrepreneurs as well as established brands from around the globe. Icelandic Glacial has previously won the Best New Brand/Brand Extension award in 2016 for its classic sparkling water and the Best in PET award in 2013 for its excellent design and packaging at the Global Bottled Water Awards.
It's quite an honor, but a testament to offering a quality water and staying ahead of the curve.
