National Signing Day is 2/7/18…. it’s the day that all the recruits sign with their colleges very publicly it’s really well televised all day on ESPN.

Beginning at 7 a.m. ET on the first Wednesday of every February, National Signing Day is the first day an athlete signs their National Letter of Intent for a collegiate sport with a school that is a member of the United States National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Many of the nation’s best athletic prospects have already decided which university they’ll be playing for and will simply be faxing their letters in the morning in order to finalize their plans.

In 2016, Susan Peal, the NCAA’s manager of national letters of intent noted that “More schools are getting away from fax machines, which is long overdue. Many are, and I’m glad they are. There are more efficient ways to do it.”
