Sling TV became the first live and on-demand OTT service available on LG Smart TVs. Sling TV now supports most 2016 webOS 3.0 Smart TV models, and will be available on LG’s 2017 webOS 3.5 enabled-models in the coming months. On Sling TV-supported LG Smart TVs, you will be able to do the following. Easily add Sling TV to your LG Smart TV – Now you can watch live and on-demand content from Sling TV on your LG Smart TV without the hassle of streaming boxes or switching inputs. To download Sling TV, look for the Sling TV app in the LG launcher bar, or press “Home,” select “Go to LG Content Store” and search “Sling.” Sign up for Sling TV in-app– New customers can sign up for Sling TV directly from the app on their LG Smart TV and can create their own entertainment experience without leaving their TV screen. Customize your at-home viewing experience – With Sling TV, you can create your own TV experience, just the way you want it. Customize your viewing experience on your LG smart TV by subscribing to Sling Orange ($20/mo), Sling Blue ($25/mo), exploring our Extras in genres like kids, sports, news, movies, comedies and more.
Across the board, Sling TV is adding more subscribers.
