The PGA Merchandise Show has grown in 64 years out of the trunks of cars in 1954 to the comprehensive international golf business event it is today.
"The PGA Show is fantastic and it's a dream for me (to be here)," boasts young PGA Player, Bryson DeChambeau, who was appearing at Demo Day for Cobra/Puma. "I would love to stay out here for hours and hours and hours, but I have to play golf this week."

PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day, Tuesday, Jan. 24, is open exclusively to PGA Professionals and invited retailers, the PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day features nearly 100 top golf companies within 200+ hitting bays, practice greens and the vendor village of the 42-acre Orange County National Golf Center. Additionally, PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day Instructional Workshops featuring leading PGA Professional teachers provide insight into becoming a world class teacher, instructor, and coach to today’s golfers.
What did we see at Demo Day this year? It was quite a mix.
Geltees. Made from 100% pharmaceutical grade gelatin, GelTees are biodegrade within days of being left in the elements.
Driver vs. Driver. Eric Sillies, winner of Golf Channel's reality program where contestants built drivers was on hand to talk about the show and the fact that his driver will be put in play soon on the PGA Tour.
Also on display, new putters, wedges and irons to go along with new ways to get around the course, like Golfboard. There were various accessories, clinics and the chance to talk with those in the golf biz and golf professionals. There also was a putting competition that qualified a lucky winner to compete in Las Vegas this fall for a lot of money.
The weather was great, the golf was fantastic and it was good to kick off the 2017 golf season at Demo Day.
