EarthCam gives live webcam views of new Vikings Stadium

Sunday, September 18, is the big day that the Minnesota Vikings will take to the field for their very first home game at their new home, U.S. Bank Stadium for a game against the rival Green Bay Packers. Anticipation has been running high ever since construction first began for this architecturally unique and state-of-the-art stadium, and now fans will finally get to experience all the excitement. Can’t be at the game in person? EarthCam’s live webcam takes you to Minneapolis and lets you virtually join the pre-game fun.

EarthCam construction cameras have been onsite since December 2013, documenting the demolition of the former Metrodome and construction of the new HSK Architects-designed U.S. Bank Stadium. Fans of the purple and gold have been able to keep track of the construction process thanks to live video and updating high definition megapixel imagery made available on a public web page.
