When reflection on last year's Adobe Summit, the Adobe Summit 2017 attendees totaling a record-breaking 12,000, were told:
"Twelve months seems like ancient history."
And it really does as Adobe announced a ton of new products and services during the opening keynote on Tuesday at the Sands Expos/Venetian in Las Vegas.
Adobe unveiled Experience Cloud, a comprehensive set of cloud services designed to give enterprises everything they need to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Comprised of Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Advertising Cloud and Adobe Analytics Cloud, Experience Cloud is built on the Adobe Cloud Platform, Adobe’s underlying, cross-cloud architecture that unifies content and data. The company also announced new developer tools and partner integrations as well as new intelligence features for enterprises powered by Adobe Sensei. Finally, Adobe and Microsoft announced the availability of their first set of joint solutions focused on transforming customer experiences.
“At Adobe, we believe experience is the great differentiator, the make-or-break attribute to ignite life-long customer advocacy and growth,” said Brad Rencher, executive vice president and general manager, Digital Marketing, Adobe. “Leveraging deep customer intelligence, Adobe Experience Cloud gives businesses everything they need to deliver a well-designed, personal and consistent experience that delights customers at every touchpoint.”
Adobe Experience Cloud combines world-class solutions, a complete, extensible platform, comprehensive data and content systems, a robust partner ecosystem, and unparalleled experience delivery expertise.
Adobe Experience Cloud includes:
Adobe Marketing Cloud offers an integrated set of world-class solutions that empower marketers to craft experiences that differentiate their brands, connect with customers and proactively engage them. Adobe Marketing Cloud includes Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Social and Adobe Primetime, and helps brands accomplish the following at scale: manage, personalize, optimize and orchestrate campaigns and customer journeys.
Adobe Advertising Cloud is the industry’s first end-to-end platform for managing advertising across traditional TV and digital formats. Combining capabilities from Adobe Media Optimizer and recently acquired TubeMogul, Adobe Advertising Cloud simplifies the delivery of video, display and search advertising across channels and screens.
Adobe Analytics Cloud is the customer intelligence engine that powers businesses by enabling them to move from insights to action in real-time by uniquely integrating audience data across all Adobe clouds. Adobe Analytics Cloud combines Adobe Audience Manager, the leading data and audience management platform, and Adobe Analytics, the industry leading solution for applying real-time analytics and detailed audience segmentation across all marketing channels. Built on the Adobe Cloud Platform, which provides open APIs, a standard data model, and Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s unified AI and machine learning framework (see separate press release), Adobe Analytics Cloud enables brands to better capture, aggregate, rationalize and understand vast amounts of their own disparate data and then translate that data into singular profiles of their customers.
Along with Adobe's latest technology breakthroughs, the conference will feature Academy Award-nominated actor Ryan Gosling, Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon and Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning, who will share how digital has impacted their careers. Executives from Facebook, Microsoft, National Geographic, the NBA and others will join Adobe executives on main stage.
Introducing Adobe Experience Cloud
Digital has disrupted every industry and forward-looking enterprises understand that a great customer experience is the differentiator that separates market leaders from market laggards. An exceptional experience is the most important step in a long-term relationship with a customer and requires deep intelligence and amazing design. In response to these challenges, Adobe today introduced Adobe Experience Cloud, a comprehensive set of cloud services designed to give enterprises everything they need to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Comprised of Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Advertising Cloud (see separate press release) and Adobe Analytics Cloud, Experience Cloud is built on the Adobe Cloud Platform. And because it’s from Adobe, Experience Cloud integrates with Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud.

Adobe introduced new enhancements to its Adobe Cloud Platform, the underlying, cross-cloud architecture that unifies content and data. Key updates include new Sensei capabilities for enterprise customers as well as new tools and partner integrations available through Adobe I/O, Adobe’s cross-cloud developer portal. In addition, AppDynamics, Clicktale, Dun & Bradstreet, ForeSee, Mastercard, Ooyala, SapientRazorfish and others announced new Adobe Experience Cloud integrations, now available on Adobe Exchange.
Adobe Sensei, the intelligence layer in the Adobe Cloud Platform, offers customers a unified AI and machine learning framework as well as intelligent services. Today, Adobe released new Sensei capabilities for the enterprise, including Fluid Experiences, Auto-Target, Enhanced Anomaly Detection and Contribution Analysis.
Adobe and Microsoft Announce Availability of Joint Offerings to Transform Customer Experiences
